In a dark old dryroom under a rentalhouse somewhere in Stockholm, there´s a grand piano unwatered and abandoned. Peter takes his seat, starts to play and suddenly Éva responds to his melodies. She tells him what she´s been thru the two years they´ve been separated and he answers with his music. First with the grand piano and then returnes to his instrument the guitarr and the amplifier. In this musical conversation they find each other again and start the surprising collaboration under the name Cupcake Experience.

As the music is very important for directors as David Lynch and Aki Kaurusmäki is the filmic essence the most important ingredient in the expression of Cupcake Experience. Its about when ficiton and reality takes off and in what ways film has been influencing the perception of reality. Every meeting and place has its potentiall to inspire to their music.

Peter Holm has written and played music all his life with band names as Filten, Fitzcarraldo and his own project Florian Milk where Sonic Youth, Vincent Gallo and Velvet Undergroung were important influences.

Éva Mag is born in Transylvania and came to Sweden at the age of 10. Her musical refernces except for hungarian folkmusic is majestetic singing ladies as Nico, Marlene Dietrich and Beth Gibbons from Portishead.

23rd of November their first 10"Ep with the title Signals Of Love with 4 tracks that are just as melancholic as their influeces. It is in a world that is longing for love that they talk about, four women who in different ways lost track but yet stand there with their strength and beauty.
